Chiều ngày 9/10/2020, Đảng ủy Phường 3 đã tổ chức Lễ thành lập Chi bộ xây dựng Đảng – Đoàn thể Phường 3. Đồng thời chỉ định đồng chí Võ Văn Phước Lộc - Đảng ủy viên, Phó Chủ tịch UBND Phường 3 làm Bí thư Chi bộ. Đến tham dự buổi lễ có đồng chí Đoàn Hồng Nhã – Phó Trưởng Phòng Tổ chức Đảng - Đảng viên Ban Tổ chức Thành uỷ.

Chi bộ mới thành lập gồm 5 đảng viên, có 3 đồng chí đảng viên hiện đang công tác tại các doanh nghiệp trên địa bàn Phường 3.
